We did ALOT of cooking on this Study Abroad. I love to cook so my roomate was so happy that we lived together because she had no idea how to cook, but by the end of our experience, she was able to make a few traditional Jamaican dishes.
The first dish is called Festival, it's basically fried dough, but it's a little sweet. We would make it and eat it with Guava Jelly, MMMM! the memories....
This was my classmate Rob and I, he was the only guy on our trip and we would all feed him because he had no idea how to cook...My roomie took the photo of our breakfast (Bacon, Eggs, Plantains and Festival) .
This is my favorite food, Fried Plantain; it can be eaten anytime of the day...
